The 8th Historic Stevensville Classic Car and Truck Show was a colorful event due to partnership with the Kent Island Cruisers, the Kent Island Heritage Society, Queen Anne’s County Tourism, and the business community.  On November 4, 2023, eighty classics were displayed on the streets in Stevensville and on the green around the 1820 Cray House and the Old Stevensville Train Station. The entire town of Stevensville is on the National Register of Historic Places, and docent guides in historic buildings informed visitors about Kent Island history and culture.  The atmosphere of this event was enhanced by a variety of tunes played by DJ’s Mike and Monique Thomas.  Generous sponsors from the business community enabled the award trophies with Route 66 gas pumps, souvenir dash plaques, door prizes, and raffle prizes to classic car owners and many area spectators.
